Accessibility Statement
AapkaLove is dedicated to making interactive voting and community polls accessible and enjoyable for everyone, including people with visual, motor, auditory, or cognitive disabilities.
We actively build and audit our web components against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 Level AA) principles to ensure a seamless experience across devices and assistive technologies.
Key Accessibility Implementations
Our platform incorporates accessibility considerations into every design decision and code deployment:
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements, including voting buttons, modal dialogs, tabs, and form fields, can be operated entirely using standard keyboard commands (Tab, Enter, Space, Esc).
Focus Management
Authentication modals and slide-out panels trap focus while active and restore keyboard focus to the triggering element upon closing.
Semantic HTML & ARIA
We utilize semantic elements (<header>, <main>, <nav>, <button>) paired with descriptive ARIA attributes (aria-expanded, role="dialog", aria-label).
Color Contrast & Hierarchy
Typography, status badges, and interactive controls strictly meet WCAG recommended color contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text) for comfortable readability in all lighting conditions.
Touch Target Sizing
Mobile interactive buttons, bottom navigation tabs, and voting cards adhere to comfortable minimum touch target dimensions (minimum 44×44px).
